Wisdom Family Foundation Accepts Grant Applications By Invitation Only

The Wisdom Family Foundation provides operating and capital grants to organizations that share our vision for empowered communities. Entities must demonstrate their programs are financially sustainable and have a positive effect on individuals, communities or the environment.

Grantees are primarily located in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Grant-Making Focus Areas Include:

  • Youth Enrichment & Education

  • Food Security

  • Community Development

  • Health and Wellness Programs

  • Healthcare Access

  • Environmental Sustainability

  • Social Justice & Equity

WFF typically awards operating grants between $5,000-$20,000. Larger capitol gifts are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Application Process:

  • Wisdom Family Foundation accepts grant applications by invitation only.

  • Organizations that received grants in previous years are not guaranteed to receive grant invitations in subsequent years.

  • Grant applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors on an annual basis Grant Calendar:

    • By February 1- Organizations must complete the Preliminary Grant Inquiry form to be considered for an invitation.

    • By March 1- Organizations receive an invitation to submit a complete grant application.

    • April 1- Grant applications due.

    • May 1- Grant award notifications.

    • June- Grant distributions.
