In addition to organizations, the Wisdom Family Foundation also provides funding for individuals and families in need. A sampling of some of our donations to individuals and families include:
Providing hearing aids for hard-of-hearing/deaf students
Obtaining/financing resources for disabled individuals
Financing summer school tuition
Supplementing mortgage payments
Paying gas & electricity bills
Funding alcohol treatment program costs
Subsidizing necessary medication costs
You may notice that the Foundation's annual filings show modest grant totals relative to our programmatic activity. That's intentional: WFF is structured as a lean, hands-on operating arm of our family's giving, focused on direct-impact programs like Christmas Wishes and Warmth for Winter rather than large-scale grant disbursement. Our family's broader charitable commitments — many of which don't run through the Foundation itself — are separate from what appears here.
